Esme lives for the love of horses, and is dedicated to teaching proper horsemanship to riders at all levels. She is a certified Equine Canada Competition Coach who has been training horses and riders in BC and Ontario for over 15 years.
Esme competed on the A-Circuit in Equitation, Hunters and Jumpers in the late 80’s and 90’s throughout BC, winning many championships.
Over the last 10 years when Esme wasn’t at the barn, she was working in Property Management (Commercial and Multi-Family Real Estate) winning industry awards for Advertising and Corporate Branding. She holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario.
Highlihts of Esme’s day include watching a 7 year old proudly tack-up on their own, seeing a teen execute a great hunter round, training a young horse to jump, and most of all experiencing the moment when students turn from passengers to riders.
Natalie began riding at the age of 7 and after 10 years of weekly lessons, and a little break for college, she bought her own horse! In addition to riding her own horse, Natalie found her calling in working with young off the track thoroughbreds.
Natalie first came to Crescent Stables as a working student in 2010, and has since started a family. Now that her son is 2, Natalie is back riding the young horses and schooling some of the jumpers. Natalie teaches in the Riding School, and is taking new students interested in riding and showing in the Hunter/Jumper disciplines.
